Master Mover LTD Completes Its Relocation To Larger Premises

Rapidly expanding local manufacturer, MasterMover Ltd, has completed it’s relocation from Henmore Trading Estate to larger premises at the Airfield Industrial Estate to the south of the town.

The move took place following a number of years of spectacular growth in the business which meant the old premises just weren’t big enough to cope with expansion. More room was required both on the shop floor and in the offices where new staff have been employed to cope with the growing workload.

Andy Owen, Managing Director of MasterMover, commented; “We are committed, as a company, to staying in the town of Ashbourne. We have a very loyal and dedicated workforce here, the majority of whom live locally. We’ve been outgrowing the old premises for a while now, but we waited for the right building to become vacant in the town before we embarked on such a major change. Our new building means that we will be able to pursue our ambitious growth forecasts without being limited by the space around us”.

MasterMover has been manufacturing compact electric tugs in the town since 1995 when they first started in business with just one model. Twelve years on, they have a range of over 27 models all designed to safely move wheeled loads from 50kg up to 100,000kgs and they work with some of the biggest brand names in British Industry to provide handling solutions. Their machines are exported all over the world and they have recently won a tender to supply machines to the US military. They are committed to British design and manufacturing and employ over 40 people.
