Longer or heavier loads that need more than one machine for optimum positioning and manoeuvrability, without the need for remote control operation.

What automation and remote control options are available for electric tuggers?

MasterMover offers remote control, MultiLink, line follow and AGV natural navigation. These technologies are designed to improve visibility, repeatability, control and return on investment from electric tugger applications.  

What are the benefits of remote control for an electric tugger?

Remote control allows the operator to take the best vantage point when moving a load, helping improve visibility and control. Operators can manage speed and direction using simple controls, and the machine stops if controls are released or an emergency stop is activated.  

What is MultiLink technology?

MultiLink is a MasterMover system that enables multiple electric tuggers to work in sync under the control of a single operator. It is particularly useful for very large or especially heavy loads that require more than one machine to handle the weight as well as giving operators maximum visibility for precision movement and positioning. 

How does MultiLink help move large loads?

By positioning multiple machines at suitable points around the load and synchronizing their movement, MultiLink helps deliver controlled, coordinated movement of large or heavy wheeled loads, giving operators even more visibility to ensure accurate positioning. 

What is line follow technology on an electric tugger?

Line follow technology enables an electric tugger to follow a line on the floor, supporting accurate and repeatable movement between points. This is useful in tight spaces or whenever precise travel paths are needed.  

What is the difference between remote-control line follow and AGV line follow?

With remote-control line follow, the operator controls speed while the machine follows the floor line for direction. With AGV line follow, movement is automated and scanners monitor hazards, stopping the machine when required.  

What is AGV natural navigation?

AGV natural navigation is a fully automated solution that uses navigation and safety sensor technology to help electric tuggers move safely and efficiently through their environment. Sensors can detect obstacles and risks, slowing or stopping movement when needed.  

What's the difference between TillerLink and MultiLink?

Both are patented MasterMover technologies that link machines together, but they suit different needs. TillerLink combines two pedestrian machines under one operator using tiller control (ideal for stepping up capacity while keeping things simple). MultiLink synchronizes multiple machines under a single remote control, for the largest and most awkward loads that need coordinated, multi-point movement for load protection and maximum operator visibility.

What AGV navigation options are available?

There are two AGV navigation options available on MasterMover tuggers. Line Follow uses a floor-mounted line for fully automated, repeatable movement between fixed points, with safety scanning and optional barcode triggers. Natural Feature navigation is fully autonomous and follows a virtual path using the features of your environment (no physical line required), making it ideal for more dynamic or flexible routes.

Do I need a license to operate this technology?

Pedestrian and remote control electric tuggers don't require an operator license. We provide complete operator training with every solution, so that your team is confident and safe from day one.

How does MasterMover decide which technology is right for us?

It's always a consultative process. We evaluate your application first and recomment the right level of control for it. We'd rather tell you a pedestrian machine is the right answer for your operation than oversell a technology you don't need.
