Compact power, zero drift: the new MasterHandler

Big capacity, small footprint; compact electric tugger control for four-swivel and mixed-caster loads in the tightest spaces.

MasterMover announces the launch of the all-new MasterHandler – a reimagined, next-generation electric tugger developed in response to growing demand for greater control when moving complex wheeled loads in space-restricted industrial environments. Built to address the long-standing challenge of maneuvering four-swivel and mixed-caster setups, it gives operators precise, confident control in tight spaces with no load drift during movement.

This launch marks a significant evolution of the MasterHandler range, combining the power typically found in larger machines with the compact precision MasterMover is known for. With a small footprint and maximum load capacity of up to 13,000 lbs., the latest MasterHandler allows a single operator to move heavy loads safely and efficiently.

Compact power in tight spaces, with zero load drift

The new MasterHandler features a stabilizing leg that slides beneath the load to create a consistent control point and eliminate drift, the common challenge that makes swivel-caster loads difficult to keep straight and stable. With the tugger positioned close to the load via a secure hydraulic connection and compact design, operators gain maximum control in restrictive spaces.

Key benefits of the new MasterHandler range include:

  • Precision control of swivel caster loads

  • Compact power in tight spaces
  • Stabilizing leg prevents drift
  • Adaptable for changing setups
  • Easy-swap batteries for 24/7 operation

"The new MasterHandler is our most compact, configurable electric tugger for difficult-to-control loads with swivel caster setups," James Jones, Partner at MasterMover confirms. "By eliminating drift and keeping the machine close to the load, a single operator can move heavy loads easily and precisely, even in the tightest spaces."

Advanced control upgrades

For operations that need even more control and visibility, the MasterHandler can be upgraded to ElectricSteer models which add advanced steering and control capabilities to help operators maneuver long, heavy, or awkward loads with even more confidence and precision.

Our advanced technology upgrades include remote control for improved visibility while positioning, as well as innovative MultiLink machine synchronization that combines the power of multiple tuggers for even more load-moving capacity. For applications where repeatable accuracy is essential, MasterHandler tuggers can also be configured with AutoSteer and automated line-follow technology.
