Electric tug specialist attends ProMat

Electric tug specialist MasterMover will be attending manufacturing and supply chain show ProMat from April 3 to 6, 2017 at McCormick Place, Chicago. The company will be exhibiting its range of electric tugs in the North Hall on stand N539 to build relationships with potential dealers for the American market. Companies from a wide range of sectors, including manufacturing, retail and warehousing as well as food and beverage will be attending the show.

ProMat attracts over 850 exhibitors from industry, commerce and government. Over its 350,000 square-feet show floor, manufacturers and supply chain professionals can view thousands of products that aim to improve productivity in manufacturing, assembly, fulfilment, delivery and IT.

MasterMover will be exhibiting its SM100+ and MT1500+ motorised electric tugs to demonstrate the range of MasterMover’s equipment. The SM100+ is part of the SmartMover range and is able to move wheeled loads weighing up to 1,200 kg in confined spaces. The MT1500+ is part of the MasterTug range, which allows a single pedestrian operator to easily move wheeled loads up to 15,000 kg.

Companies from a wide range of sectors across the USA use MasterMover electric tugs to improve efficiency. The tugs help companies to reduce the non-value added time (NVAT) that employees spend waiting for assistance to move heavy goods as well as reducing the amount of manual handling that they do.

“American companies are increasingly under pressure to reduce non value added time in their operations,” explained Andy Owen, managing director of MasterMover. “By using MasterMover’s electric tugs, companies can increase productivity by reducing any wasted time or effort by employees. This not only helps the businesses growth but also increases worker’s morale.”

“At ProMat, we are looking for distributors in the region. Due to the large amount of work that we do for American companies such as McDonalds, Walmart and Boeing, we would like our American customers to deal directly with an American distributor. Ideally, this will be a company that works in the manual handling or a similar sector, meaning that we can enhance the products they sell to their customers.”
