With over 25 years of engineering experience, MasterMover leads the way when it comes to utilising technology on electric tugs to drive safety and operational efficiency.
Our technology options are designed to help operators drive maximum ROI from their investment in electric tugs.
Utilising Remote Control options offers a range of benefits.
Remote Control capability is available via two options.
Basic: straight line, forwards and backwards movement
Full: multi-directional capability.
When utilising Remote Control, operators can take up the ideal vantage point when moving a load, controlling speed and direction of travel through simple controls. The tug or tow will come to a stop if the controls are disengaged, or the emergency stop button (on the control unit or the machine) is engaged.
As an addition to Remote Control of a single machine, our MultiLink technology facilitates the use of multiple electric tugs, working in sync under the control of a single operator.
This is ideal for especially large or heavy loads, with multiple machines positioned at suitable points on the load. SmartCoupling ensures each tug understands its position on the load, delivering seamless operation.

This technology ensures an electric tug follows a line on the floor, delivering highly accurate repeated movement between points. This is especially useful when moving loads through tight spaces, or when accurate movement is required.
Line Following capability is available via two options.
Remote Control: the operator controls the speed of the machine, but the direction dictated by the dedicated line on the floor.
AGV: movement is automated with the AGV following the line on the floor. Scanners monitor for hazards and risks, bringing the tug or tow to a stop if the need arises. The AGV can read barcodes or other prompts, to stop under certain circumstances, or slow down or speed up in different locations.
AGV – Natural Navigation
Our full AGV solution utilises the latest in navigation and safety sensor technology to deliver electric tugs that interact with their environment, travelling safely and efficiently between destinations.
Safety sensors detect obstacles and risks, slowing or stopping movement, for example reducing speed when the floor is wet and/or where visibility is impacted.
Navigation technology ensures the machine travels between destination, interacting with your environment as required to take account or ideal routes, other machines, and operational factors.
