Automation Development Engineer
AUTOMATION DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER

If so, MasterMover is looking to expand its Automation and Technology department, as we look to continue to build on the success achieved with developing and installing Automated Electric Tug solutions to our global customer base.
We are looking for a passionate Automation Development Engineer, with an innovative and practical mindset, to design and develop our AGV systems, including control, navigation and safety systems and sensors. Conducting relevant research for development, you will stay current with industry trends, standards and advancements in AGV technology.
In addition, you will debug and troubleshoot AGV systems to resolve any issues and write technical reports and documentation for AGV systems.
The successful candidate will:
- Have proven experience in a similar role, and knowledge of control, safety and navigation systems, and robotics.
- Hold relevant technical qualifications in robotics, automation, mechanical or electrical engineering.
- Have experience with programming languages.
- Evidence the ability to manage automation projects in a manufacturing environment, knowing the importance of effective communication and teamwork.
- Be flexible, with the ability to travel to customer sites to support with the installation and commissioning of the AGVs.
