ASSET AND PARTS ASSEMBLY OPERATIVE

We are looking for an observant and efficient ASSET AND PARTS ASSEMBLY OPERATIVE to deliver an outstanding customer experience of rental and demonstration and take pride in the Service Stores to deliver quality equipment and parts. The role will include maintaining the fleet of rental and demo equipment, ensuring availability and enhanced up-time, along with carrying out final quality checks, boxing and despatch of MasterMover equipment and parts.

You will be a well organised individual, with the ability to maintain a clean and tidy working environment and follow relevant statutory and company regulations and policies.

Key responsibilities include:

• Maintain good condition of MasterMover assets; preparing them for demonstration and rental.
• Carry out mechanical, hydraulic and electrical repairs.
• Complete pre despatch inspections, packing for shipment and loading or transport.
• Sub-assembly of kits and minor components, ie putting together smaller parts to allow for the maintenance and servicing of machines.
• Quality control of incoming and outgoing parts, making sure parts are fit for purpose and not defective or substandard.
• Stock maintenance and accurate record keeping.
• Stock, pick, pack and dispatch items in accordance with customer requirements and for global export.
• Support stock checks to ensure plentiful supply of parts.

The successful candidate will have basic numeracy, literacy and computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office including Outlook, Calendar, Word, and Excel. Being conscientious, being reliable and having good time keeping is also key! You will have engineering and/or assembly experience – this could be a practical project or an interest outside of education or through education – a demonstration of practicality, not necessarily direct experience.

Willingness to learn, take and follow instruction is important, and will allow for developing technical knowledge.
