Stop waiting around for a licensed driver

Depots often rely on a combination of shunters, forklift trucks and lorry cabs to move empty trailers around the yard.

Requiring licensed, trained drivers for short-distance movements leads to bottlenecks in the movement of trailers from bays to docks, driving many logistics providers to look for more efficient options.

      Your Questions, Answered - FAQs

What sort of trailers can I use your Trailer Moving System to move?

We’ve designed our trailer movers to move virtually any type of trailer from curtain siders to refrigerated units.

Depending on which model you choose, our Trailer Moving System can be used to move unladen trailers of up to 20,000 kg.

Is an operator license or training required?

No, unlike shunters or lorries, the Trailer Moving System does not require a license to operate.

A license-free operation reduces downtime and maximises operational efficiency, reducing wasted time waiting for a licensed driver.

      How are electric tugs powered?

Electric tugs are battery powered, with interchangeable batteries or lithium options available, electric tugs can deliver 24/7 operation to keep your processes moving.

Offering zero emissions from the point of use, electric tugs are ideally suited for indoor use, replacing internal combustion engine (ICE) powered equipment such as forklifts or tow tractors.

      How do trailer movers connect?

Our trailer movers connect via the standardised kingpin connection. This creates a secure connection and enables outstanding manoeuvrability - without the cost and complexity of shunters.

Loads can quickly and easily be connected, improving operational efficiency.
