MasterMover offers a range of stainless steel electric tugs for the more challenging environments where compliance to corrosion or clean room standard are required.

There are several electric tugs in the stainless steel range, covering weights from 500kg up to 15,000 kg.

The smallest of the range, SM100+SS is a compact machine that can move loads up to 1,200 kg making it ideal for moving trolleys and mixing vessels in confined spaces such as laboratories or kitchens where space is at a premium.

The larger MasterTugs can move loads up to 15,000 kgs and can move heavy loads such as chromatography columns for the pharmaceutical industry where these sensitive loads need to be moved in a controlled manner safely. With standard or bespoke coupling systems, the stainless steel MasterTugs can be used with almost any mobile equipment.

The range of stainless steel machines can also be converted to ATEX zone 1 or zone 2 so they can operate in potential explosive environments whilst still meeting the high standards of clean room compliance.

An option of up to IP55 Ingress Protection and food quality hydraulic oil (ISO standard 32) can be specified to ensure the tug meets the most stringent standards.

Hygiene is maintained during use, with added features including non marking castors that eliminate marks on the floor where dirt could become trapped. Food quality lubricating grease is used within the tugs.

Each stainless steel tug is manufactured out of 316 grade stainless steel and is finished to 240-grit abrasiveness and a 0.6µ stain finish making them corrosion resistant and able to withstand sterilisation processes such as jet washing. All stainless steel tugs go through a pickle and passivation process to ensure the correct finish and come fully certified.
