At MasterMover we have a Level 3 Engineering Technician apprenticeship available. The opportunity of studying whilst working alongside one of our Senior Engineer’s will give you all the experience and skills you need to progress and enjoy a fulfilling career.

Our electric tugs and tows are the product of choice for market leading organisations and worldwide brands in the aerospace, automotive and pharmaceutical industries, as well as in retail, health care and other sectors of the economy.

The Field Service Engineer apprentice position will include enrolment onto a 48-month accredited apprenticeship scheme. Earning whilst you are learning, you will be working as part of a dedicated Service team, in a fast-growing business, providing customers with a friendly, knowledgeable service.

This role is suited to someone who is looking to learn and build a career in Engineering. You will learn what the role of a Field Service Engineer is, and the value it brings to the business. The role is to maintain our machines and carry out repairs to existing machines where required. This also includes the commissioning of new machines and training operators, and you will have the opportunity to master all there is to know!

Key activities include:

  • Providing support to maintain and repair hydraulic, electrical and battery powered machinery
  • Assisting to deliver training to the customers on the full use of the machinery
  • Creating professional relationships with customers to achieve customer loyalty
  • Working closely with the Service Support team in managing workload effectively and reporting accurate and timely activities
  • Ensuring administrative tasks are completed accurately where required

  • Eager and willing to learn new skills and a passion to provide support to others
  • A hard-working individual with a positive can-do attitude towards their work
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, negotiation and influencing skills
  • Good IT skills and proficient in using Microsoft Office
  • Hold a full UK driving licence
