Queen's Medical Centre, Nottingham

The Queens Medical Centre in Nottingham has just taken delivery of 5 MasterMover Ride-On Machines. Their existing hand tugs that are over 20 years old were coming to the end of their working life and needed to be replaced with a machine that was versatile to tow a variety of items inside a busy single site teaching hospital, which would address manual handling concerns, reduce noise, would not damage the extensive miles of vinyl covered corridor and add to the modernisation of the Portering services.

The MasterMover range of transporters and tow tractors have a load maximum of 800kg, a towing capacity up to 5,000kg , and a drive speed of up to 12 km/h.
